I was born and raised in France, and I decided to leave my dear homeland when I was 18 years old.
I combined my thirst of adventure and pursuit of my studies by moving to Montreal. I chose this city because of the attraction that it aroused; it’s cosmopolitan, the difference of culture (European versus North America) and also due to my admission at a prestigious business school, the École des hautes études commerciales de Montréal. In 2015, I obtained a diploma in both of my main interests; marketing and quantitative methods of management. During my student life I worked in several marketing and customer relationship roles. Even my first full-time job was as an account manager. However, my Marketing Automation Specialist job at Perkuto represents the real jump in my professional life.
Why I joined Perkuto
I left the multinational company I worked for and joined Perkuto for divers reasons. First of all, I was very interested in the post. In my previous job I felt that I learned all I can learn about marketing. I never had the opportunity to explore the integration of information technologies in marketing in such a profound way. Perkuto is part of the last major evolution in marketing and I wanted to be a member of it. Secondly, the friendly working environment resonated with me. This company really understands that the well-being of its employees is important for its success.
What I love about marketing automation
As a graduate of quantitative methods of management, I adore the concept which allows marketers to attribute quantitative measures to qualitative events. Afterwards, this enables relevant analyses. Marketo’s features like Lead scoring, Reporting, Analytics have a particular fascination and interest for me.
What scares me about it
What frightens me about marketing automation is that it is a field in constant evolution. Not jumping on the bandwagon in time would be disastrous.
The coolest thing I’ve learned so far
The coolest thing I have learned so far, is lead scoring. I think it is extremely advantageous to be able to score your leads and it permits you to go farther and use it in other features like lead life cycle management, sales insight and so on. Tokens are another cool thing, that can save you a lot of time.
